Truth, Beirut. Since the assassination of
Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri on February 14th, 2004,
signs calling for ‘the truth’ and accountability
for the murder have sprung up all over the city.
The Hariri assassination was the catalyst for
the largest popular movement in Lebanese history,
culminating in the departure of Syrian troops in Spring 2004.
