Introduction to principles of biology with an orientation toward molecular and organismal organization of protista, plants and animals, organic and inorganic molecules, cell theory, membranes and internal structures of cells, multicellular organization, nutrient procurement, gas exchange, photosynthesis, anaerobic and aerobic metabolism and cellular reproduction.
