Prerequisites: ECON 201, POLS 320. 

The politics of international economics, focusing on the role of the IMF, World Bank, GATT, and other multinational institutions.  Special attention will be given to the political dimensions of such issues as debt rescheduling, structural adjustment, foreign trade, foreign aid, trade wars and embargos.
