The Candidates must have access to windows (98, 2000, or Xp), Microsoft Office, and Internet browser (Explorer or Netscape). The course material is in English and is selected from recent references. Case studies, and practical assignments and exams are used for assessment of participants in the program.

• Sound Card and Speakers (for audio only)

Delivery
Theses course will be delivered through a blended approach. Considering that the learners for this course are geographically dispersed, busy professionals, distance learning is the most viable form of delivery. Also, considering the hype surrounding the use of the Internet for education and training, and the mandate that the learners have to make use of this technology, this would seem a good opportunity to teach the media and methodologies of Internet enabled distance learning by example.
However, it is also expected that many of the participants would have no previous experience in participating in an online course. Therefore, a weekly 2 hours hands-on lab will be scheduled to help the participants overcome any technical problems they may face.
