School of Continuing Education
AUC's School of Continuing Education extends the resources of the university into the community by providing high quality educational opportunities for learners of all ages to enrich their lives, enhance their professional qualifications, and promote their careers.
Instruction is offered through regular, customized, tutorial, off-campus programs and soon e-learning environments. Delivery formats range in their duration, level of in-depth study and broadness of areas. Programs include Arabic and Translation studies, Business studies, Computer and Information Technology studies, Education, English language studies, and Youth and Special Studies. These programs are offered under a variety of certification packages, including professional certificates, advanced professional certificates, certificates, certificates of achievement, as well as individual courses.
We offer courses in translation, simultaneous interpreting, Arabic language for non-native speakers of Arabic, sales and marketing, accounting, investment and finance, human resource management, travel and tourism, computer networking, database management, web development, computer graphics, computer programming.
Through SCE's international partnerships, regular programs also provide individuals with the opportunity of developing or refining their professional skills from internationally renowned organizations. We offer international review programs in accounting and investment management (Certified Public Accountant – CPA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), as well in information technology (Cisco certifications, Microsoft certifications, and the International Computer Driving License (ICDL), English language courses at all levels of proficiency, TOEFL preparation courses, specialized English language courses, pre- and in-service English language teacher training, and for young learners German, French, Spanish language courses and computer courses, a Junior Summer Program for youth between the ages of 6 – 16 years, and programs on learning disabilities and special education.
SCE certificates are offered at AUC's Tahrir, Zamalek, and Heliopolis campuses. We have a training site at El Gouna and an office in the Smart Village.
Through SCE's customized programs, the center also meets the interests, needs and schedules of individuals and organizations. Client organizations include multinational corporations, businesses and governmental and non-governmental organizations in Egypt and abroad.
