Objectives:
The objective of this senior project is to design and make automotive handling
equipment, which is an automated vehicle that substitutes the handling
operations done in Mercedes service center (NATCO).
Achievements:
Lots of designs and experiments were conducted to come out with the final
design. Electrically controlled circuits were designed to control the four main
functions of the crane as: moving forward, and backward, directing the steering
wheel , lowering and lifting the arm and hook of the vehicle.
Experimenting for stability and safety was done through correlating between many
factors as speed, width, turning angle of the vehicle and height of the load
from the ground.
