Concurrent engineering is selected as a focus topic for this senior project.
This concept is used to compare between two products in the mentioned company.
Objective 490:
Study the concept of concurrent engineering and understanding the different
tools discussed. From these tools : Design for performance, Design for
manufacturability, and computer aided engineering.
Objective 491:
A comparison is studied between two models of electricity products, which are
Jolly and Millenia. The comparison is based on the different tools studied in
490.
Achievements:
The report mentions results indicating an excellent performance of Millenia
model due to the reduction of time of design and assembly.
