Objectives:
To design the control subsystem of a flexible automated handling system and the
mechanical subsystem of one of its applications namely an automated parking
facility.
490 Objectives:
- Designing the major components of the two subsystems
- Tailoring the mechanical subsystem to an automated parking system.
491 Objectives:
-Refining the design of some of the mechanical components
-Implementing and modeling the control subsystem on a prototype
Constructing a simulation model that accompanied the prototype
-Comparing the automated parking facility to a conventional one and thus proving the automated facility's advantage.
Achievements:
-They selected appropriate materials to be used in the construction of the
system.
- Completely designed the system.
