Objectives:
The main aim of this project is to modify an original RO system to be more
efficient in terms of water recovery. It also aims at making the output water
healthier by adjusting the TDS to a required value specified by the user.
Finally, the project aims at making the adjustment of the required TDS as easy
as possible through the use of a user-friendly computer program.
Achievements:
- Overcome of a very low recovery rate and an unhealthy level of TDS by
adjusting the recovery rate to an acceptable one and stabilizing the TDS level
for the optimum biological need of the human body.
- The measured entity (Desired TDS by means of a digital TDS meter), showed
similar results as the ones calculated manually with the mathematical models and
generated by the excel program
