Multi-Task Rover

Ahmed Mohamed Sami Harith Muthanna Al Durrah Mahmoud Ahmed Shama Mohamed Khaled Etman Sameh Fouad Fahmy Sherif Mohamed Raslan Objectives: The aim of the project is to manufacture a simple and inexpensive rover that has the capability to travel along shafts and tunnels to investigate the surrounding environment. this rover will be built With the ability to expand and retract depending on the size of the conduit. Achievements: The manufacturing of all the subcomponents of the rover was completed successfully to the desired specifications. After the completion of the manufacturing processes the assembly of the rover was carried out. this included placing bearings, mounting motors etc. The wiring for powering the motors was also attached. Finally during the testing phase, the rover managed to hold its own weight in a vertical position. |
