My Research Activities include:

Investigating new interactive distance learning models for training visual communicators in the developing world through my work as Distance Education Curriculum Development Consultant to the Open University of Tanzania and other African Virtual University projects.

Creating a new model for training and educating people of African descent to compete globally and locally with foreign writers, journalists, photographers and television/film/multimedia producers, especially when reporting on Africa and the African Diaspora.

Facilitating the production of ethnographic photographs and video programs in disadvantaged communities in 14 Egyptian eco-zones as I simultaneously develop a new multimedia book, "Vanishing Tribal Arts and Crafts of Egypt".

Developing SIMBA (Sounds and Images for Multimedia and Books about Africa) an indigenously sourced picture agency that serves the needs of global multimedia producers and publishers.
