On the Move Home  |  AUC Home

Transition period will not be counted as annual leave

The transition period during which staff and faculty moving to the new campus will be between offices will not be counted as annual leave.

“We will treat this gap in the regular work calendar as administrative leave,” explained Paul Donoghue, VP for planning and administration, stressing that employees will not incur any deduction from their annual vacation leave as a consequence.

Every effort will be made to minimize the transition period and during this time, staff and faculty will be free to work from home.

Move captains will be informed of the exact move dates and will also be regularly updated on the specific space allocation of their respective move units.

The move will be administered by building and by floor.  The administration offices will be among the first of the 500 downtown office spaces to relocate to the new campus.

Other offices, schools and programs on the Main Campus, Greek Campus and off-campus facilities are scheduled to move between June 1 and July 31, 2008.
