AUC’s move to the new campus is taking place between June 1 and July 31

Preliminary timeline and appointed move captains will facilitate the university's move to the new campus.

The preliminary table will inform the members of the AUC community of the order and timeline of the move, which is listed by building.

“The logistics of the move are formidable,” said Paul Donoghue, vice president for planning and administration, who heads the new campus office, adding that the forthcoming timelines will be listed by floor and then eventually by office.

To ensure maximum efficiency and organized communication, the appointed move captains who will serve as the contact person for their respective move unit, are being briefed by the Office of Campus Transition during regular meetings.

“At this stage what we are stressing to the move captains is that every person is responsible for the backup of his/her office computer and that we highly encourage people to sort things in their office before their move takes place,” explained Engineer Mohamed Abdel Gawad, senior advisor, campus transition.

The next updated timeline with the breakdown of the move logistics by floor as well as the specific recommendations for move captains will be posted online as soon as it is available.
