Preliminary summer bus schedules

The new AUC shuttle bus will run on a temporary schedule from June 1 to August 31 to provide staff with transportation options as offices are relocated to the new campus over the summer months.

Although preliminary, the university plans to offer a single trip each way during the summer. For the morning commute to the new campus, the necessary amount of buses will leave from each of the Cairo district pickup points. Similarly, there will be a single afternoon run for the return trip, with sufficient shuttles leaving the new campus and arriving at each of the Cairo stops. The university will also offer an additional bus service between Tahrir Square and the new campus, which will run on an hourly schedule and can be used for back-up transportation as needed. Click here to see the downtown campus / new campus summer shuttle bus schedule.

Separate buses will be provided for custodians and trade workers commuting to and from the new campus during the summer. Their morning and evening buses will leave from and arrive at the Tahrir Square Campus and Siag Hotel (Giza).
