Members of the AUC community planning to drive to the new campus, along with visitors to the university, will be provided with 2,000 general parking spaces and 150 short-term guest spaces, with the possibility for expansion.
The frequency and use of these parking spaces will vary according to time and day. It is therefore unlikely that a parking permit holder will be unable to find a free parking space in any of the given AUC parking lots upon arrival. In the event of such an occurrence however, adjustments in the parking plan may be needed once commuting patterns are better established.
AUC parking permits will be issued on an annual basis. Faculty and staff will have the possibility of paying for their permit fees by monthly installments and by salary deduction.
Students who buy the annual parking permit will be required to pay the full sum. A website for online information on the shuttle bus plan and parking facilities is still under construction. However in the meantime, any updates on transportation issues will be regularly posted in the coming On The Move newsletters.
