Working during the transition period

After vacating their downtown offices, faculty and staff are still considered to be on duty and thus are expected to remain available to work from their homes until they can gain access to their new workspace on the new campus. The transition period during which staff and faculty moving to the new campus will be between offices will not be counted as annual leave.

"While we recognize the inconvenience of temporarily not having an office space during this transition period, AUC will remain open," explained Paul Donoghue, VP for planning and administration.

The transition period between offices for most departments, programs and offices, may vary between four days and a week.

"This move is a very ambitious endeavor and we need everybody to be patient and cooperative as we get through the next few critical months," added Donoghue.
