Useful New Campus Numbers

As AUC faculty and staff begin to settle into their offices on the new campus and get adjusted to their new workspace, certain facilities may require finishing touches and we encourage everyone to please alert the appropriate office with any concerns about transportation, cleaning, furniture, etc.

Below are the extension numbers and e-mail addresses of the various offices to be contacted regarding office concerns, complaints and requests:

• For maintenance including air condition, electricity, painting, carpentry, keys (with the exception of electronically activated AUC IDs), contact the Facilities and Operations Services Center at ext. 2222 or by e-mail at facilities@aucegypt.edu.
  It also handles Hall Reservation and Parking (permit reservation, etc.).
  
  
• For furniture and curtains, contact Hussein Al Sharkawi at ext. 5745 or by e-mail HME@aucegypt.edu or Mohamed Al Sharkawi at ext. 8020 or by e-mail at mohshark@aucegypt.edu.
  
  
• For telephone and network (phone, Internet, log-in, etc.), contact UTI (University Technology Infrastructure), formerly known as UNS, at ext. 1200 or by e-mail at support@aucegypt.edu.
  
  
• For PC support (software, antivirus, etc.), contact University Academic Computing Technologies, UACT (the former Academic Computing Services, ACS) at ext. 3755 or by e-mail at acs@aucegypt.edu.
  
  
• For telephone (IP phones and Internet connections), contact the Telecommunications office at ext. 3560 or by e-mail for queries only regarding IP phones by e-mail at telecom@aucegypt.edu.
  
  
• For the campus operator (temporarily still located at the downtown campus), dial 0 from an AUC phone on either campus. From outside, dial 19282.

All numbers on either campus can be dialed from any AUC phone with only four digits. Unless otherwise specified, New Campus extensions can be dialed from outside AUC with the prefix 2615.
