Formation of Bus Transportation Advisory Committee
A Bus Transportation Advisory Committee has been formed to address concerns of AUC students, faculty and staff concerning the bus transportation system and to ensure that these concerns are addressed in the planning and delivery of the bus service. More.

Weekend bus service
The weekend schedule of the bus service to and from the new campus has been amended and will come into effect this coming Saturday, October 11, 2008. There is no Friday bus service. More details.

Clarification about the bus service
As announced in News@AUC, the Fall 2008 bus schedule, which went into effect today, is posted on the bus service web site. A few routes experienced difficulty this morning when buses did not arrive as scheduled. The administration is working with the bus company to ensure that this does not happen again. There are 16 routes and an extended service on most of the runs. For the latest routes and schedules, click here.

Bus clarification on Route 6 Nasr City 2
Due to miscommunication between the bus company and AUC, the changes administered on the Route 6 Nasr City 2 bus line as of Wednesday 24, September, unfortunately caused some confusion for riders using that line. More.

New pick-up point and new stop added to Route 6 Nasr City 2 bus line
The Route 6 Nasr City 2 bus line now starts from in front of the gate of Wonderland / Hadiq El Dawliya. It then makes two stops on its run to the new campus. The first is at Al-Amal Village, in front of SOS Al-Amal Village; the second at 90 Street, at the Shell Petrol station. More.

Clarification on three bus pickup points
1/ Sakanat Al-Maadi Metro in Al-Maadi
This bus leaves from the bus station on Road 87, near Sakanat Al-Maadi Metro Station (Road 9).

2/ Al-Nadi Al-Ahly in Nasr City 1
In the morning, this bus leaves from the corner of Nasr Street, by the fence of Al-Nadi Al-Ahli. It does NOT leave from the main entrance gate of Al-Nadi Al-Ahly.

3/ Road 213 Stop in Al-Maadi
For faculty and staff planning to take the bus from Road 213 - the bus will leave from Victoria Square at the intersection of Road 216, 213 and 210.

Starting Sunday, September 7, 2008, until the end of Ramadan, the complete Ramadan bus schedule will come into effect. More information about bus service, parking, and entrance gates can be found here.

The Rehab bus service for AUC residents living in Rehab City and commuting to and from the new campus is now running. It includes five pick-up points. More.

Temporary delay in the online bus schedule selection
This week AUC students started signing up for their bus pass; however, the online system has some had technical problems and was unable to process some of the bus pass payments. Due to this technical problem, which is curently being addressed, some students were unable to select their bus schedule.  This is not affecting all users and we expect this problem will be resolved shortly.  Any student who encountered problems will receive a notification in the next couple of days. Weekend summer bus service now operating
The summer bus service now provides a weekend (Friday and Saturday) shuttle between the Tahrir Square Campus and the New Cairo Campus. It will leave from and return to the Mohamed Mahmoud gate. More.
