Can all AUC employees send their children to the new campus daycare center?
All regular, full-time female employees with children under the age of 5 years are eligible for the daycare benefit. For more information on the Caring for the Children of the AUC daycare center please call 2797.6315/010.278.9987, e-mail daycare@aucegypt.edu or visit their web site. You can also contact Laila Khalil at 2797.5466 or Nevine Akl at 2797.5208 in the human resources office for detailed guidelines.
When will the daycare center at the new campus be available and how much will it cost?
The entire downtown daycare center is moving to the new campus and will be operational on August 15. Fees have yet to be determined.
Are there plans to provide some sort of after-school program for an hour or two for school-age children either through the daycare or the continuing education school, especially once the longer office hours are implemented?
The question of an after-school program will be explored.
