Mercato Italiano is located near the School of Sciences and Engineering. Quick Market is located near Jameel Hall (BEC). The market sells soft drinks, water, juice and crackers. The second Cilantro outlet is located near the library.

Food service outlets begin to open
The new campus will provide a wide variety of food selections once classes begin: while many of the outlets and main kitchens have been delayed because of the extended construction period for most buildings, a couple of the smaller outlets are up and running with more expected over the coming weeks. Findings of the Delicious Inc. food survey
AUC's community has chosen fast food as their preferred type of catering service for the new campus. The recent survey conducted by Delicious Inc., the food consortium selected by AUC for all the food services on the new campus, also shows that respondents ranked American and Egyptian cuisine as their favorite, with an explicit request for koshary, foul and taamiya. Delicious Inc., a consortium of companies under a single contract, will be providing a variety of food outlets on the new campus, ranging from Egyptian, Italian and Asian cuisine, to fast food. Delicious Inc. is currently conducting surveys and focus groups with a variety of client groups to receive input on the demand of AUC's community. The new campus will also feature separate dining halls, for faculty, students, and staff that will serve assorted hot foods, including koshary, foul and taamiya.
