Health, Safety and Security

All staff and faculty moving into offices on the new campus need to have their AUC ID cards activated, in Room G-33 (garden level) of the Administration Building. The hours are from 8:30 am to 3 pm on weekdays. The office extension number is 4114.

If you do not have the new ID, you need to go to the Tahrir Square Campus. Students should go to the Student Service Center (one-stop-shop) by the Fountain Area; staff and returning faculty should go to the ground floor of the Main Library on the Greek Campus beside security. Offices hours are 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays.

By early September the new ID unit will be located in the Student Services Center on the new campus.

Health and Safety
The temporary medical facilities on the new campus are located on the plaza level of the Administration building, in Room P025. The telephone number is 2615.2462. Useful New Campus Numbers
As AUC faculty and staff begin to settle into their offices on the new campus and get adjusted to their new workspace, certain facilities may require finishing touches and we encourage everyone to please alert the appropriate office with any concerns about transportation, cleaning, furniture, etc. More.

AUC ID Cards Need to be Activated
All staff and faculty moving into offices on the new campus will need to have their AUC ID cards activated. Once your card is activated you will be able to unlock the door to your office by sweeping it across the small scanner situated above the door handle. More.

Medical services on new campus
As the AUC clinic on the new campus nears completion, the medical services department has set up a temporary medical office for emergencies only in the Administration Building.  A physician and a nurse are available from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on week days.  For routine medical care, you are requested to use the downtown clinic which continues in operation.  More.

AUC Adopts New ID
The newly installed electronic system at the entrance of the main downtown library has been set up to accustom faculty, staff and students to start carrying their IDs with them at all times. Once AUC moves to the new campus this summer, no one will be allowed on campus without an ID. More.
