Useful New Campus Transportation Links

To assist the AUC community in facilitating on-line services for the bus service and parking permits, web pages have been developed on the university web site.  Listed below are the parking and bus web links for the new campus. 

PARKING

This page includes the latest information about parking (types of permits, prices, parking locations, etc.) on the new campus.

• The new campus parking permits can be purchased by signing up through the online registration service at http://parking.aucegypt.edu/order/
  
  
• Faculty and staff will be able to park on campus during the summer at no charge as their offices are relocated; a valid AUC ID card is required to access parking during the summer. 

BUS

This page includes the latest schedules, pick-up points and stops, bus pass prices, bus pass sign-up, etc.

• The summer bus service for staff and faculty is now up and running. The schedules for the various routes can be viewed here. All bus routes are now operational with the exception of the 6th of October City route, which will be in service shortly.
  
  
• To sign up for your summer bus pass, which will be valid until September 15, 2008, click here.
  
  
• After signing up for the bus service, bus passes can be collected from the Family Transport desk located on the Tahrir Square Campus outside Ewart Memorial Hall, by the Sheikh Rihan gate. The working hours are Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm.
  
  
• If you have not yet signed up for the bus service and not managed to obtain a summer bus pass but still wish to use the bus this month, you can initially ride the bus as long you show a valid AUC ID card.
