Site acquisition.

Spring 1998
Dober, Lidsky, Craig, and Associates, Inc. retained to prepare
the facilities space program.

Summer 1998
Site survey, topographical mapping and geotechnical study conducted.

Summer 1999
Jury reviews the six finalists’ proposals for the masterplan; Boston Design Collaborative (BDC) & Carol R. Johnson Associates (CRJA) selected to develop the master plan.

Fall 2000
AUC Board of Trustees approves the master plan and the urban design proposal for the new campus.

Summer 2002
Site preparation, infrastructure and service tunnel construction.

Winter 2003
Formal groundbreaking.

Fall 2007
Expected date of completion.

Summer 2008
Expected occupancy/relocation.
