ACM (Association of Computing Machinery)
President, AUC Student Chapter (2000)
Under Maha's leadership, the number of Chapter members grew from around ten to around 40. They prepared and hosted the first-ever Egyptian National Programming Contest, which included 25 teams from nine universities in five Egyptian cities. The winners went on to win the Regional ACM contest in Morocco, qualifying for the Finals in Vancouver. They also organized the first School of Sciences and Engineering Honors Assembly, and the First Computer Science Farewell Reception.
