• Participation in student show Falaky gallery, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004.
• Won a poster design competition for March of Dimes charity organization 1997.
• Won the competition to design my school’s yearbook cover, Asir Academy 1996.
• Displayed paintings in Pediatric department, Queen Mary’s hospital, London Ontario, Canada (1995)

My interest in art was recognized when I was selected for L. B. Pearson School for the Arts in London, Ontario through an audition process. Each year only 25 students get selected for their exceptional abilities, both academically and artistically.

Artistic and Cultural interests

Viewing world class theatrical productions and visiting Major museums — the Louvre, the Vatican, The Egyptian museum (Cairo), Tate Modern (UK), Royal Academy of Art (UK), Metropolitan Museum (NY), Museum of Modern Art (NY), Guggenheim Museum (NY), Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), Smithsonian museums (Washington DC).

I took up Irish dancing and Gaelic language due to my fascination with Irish culture when I lived (duration of 7 years) in Ireland.

Traveling to France, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, England, Kenya, Canada and USA

Extra-curricular Activities

Contribution to community service through El Wafd Political Party El Moneeb area. (helping those seeking medical attention, wheel chairs, housing and alleviating extreme hardships)

Volunteer work for orientation of international students and campus tour at AUC (since spring 2003)
