Activities at AUC Cairo International Model United Nations (CIMUN) Cairo International Model Arab League (CIMAL) Anti-Cancer Team (ACT) Office of Public Relations Personal Notes "The Essay is about the relationship between ethics and politics. It is worth noting that what first inspired me to pursue a topic about ethical behavior is the Code of Academic Ethics and Academic Integrity Policy, which is prioritizing the AUC Senate's Agenda. The Statement of Values, the Ethics of Academic Integrity, and the list of responsibilities for the different members of the AUC community was one of the main reasons that stimulated me to tackle an ethical issue. There were several questions that this code enthused me such as whether ethical behavior is innate in human beings? Or is it a feature that can be developed? Can ethical norms and rules be applied in practice or its implementation is unattainable? Can ethical behavior be applied to all disciplines and in all fields? Those questions were the driving force that further stirred me to examine the connection between ethics and international relations in modern corresponding literature." "My future career plans and ambitions are becoming a Professor of Political Science at AUC while writing and going into a development career in an agency of international reputation to contribute to the sustainable political and economic development of my home country, Egypt." —Shahdan Arram |
