Columns
By the time you read this column, I will already be 22 years-old. I’m still enjoying my final week as a 21-year-old while I write this, but the shock of the number is already beginning to get to me.
“Most people are other people. Their thoughts are
someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a
quotation,” said Oscar Wilde. Letter to the Editor Not so “embarassed to be an AUCian” In the November 11 issue of Caravan, Ms Kate Dannies wrote
the article, “Embarrassed to be an AUCian.” An injured friend, remembered It was a sad day for Vendetta, the official rugby team
for the American university in Cairo AUC. One of our team members severely
broke his wrist in a fall during the final minutes of practice, making
it impossible for him to play rugby or any kind of other sports. It is
not an easy experience to see a teammate get injured in front of your
eyes and not be able to help him or make the pain and his screams of agony
go away.
