The Caravan Voice AUC is doing it old-school If you’ve tried to open your AUC web mail lately or
use AUC’s phone lines, then you may have been surprised by the fact
that both systems were down. Now you might have been thinking, how could
an established, advanced institution like AUC lose the use of these basic
necessities for such a long time? The email, which was down for more than
a week, followed by the phone lines, caused a near – total communication
system failure in AUC. Columns Daddy,
Objective student leaders at AUC?
Letters to the Editor: Setting the record straight In my previous letter I made it very clear that I was not
questioning Model UN’s right and permission to hold their event
in the fountain area, but the idea that their event impinged on the rights
of other student groups to engage in their own activities, which were
undertaken with equal permission and advance planning. Additionally, my
letter was not meant to question the right of Model UN to hold whatever
type of event they see fit, but to call attention to the image that they
are presenting to the high school students participating in their event,
as well as the wider AUC community which is, by association, represented
(at least to the high school students involved) by Model UN’s actions.
