The Caravan Voice Say it like you mean it! The Caravan’s correction policy exists for a reason
and it is called a CORRECTION, also for a reason. A correction is done
when a piece of information is misstated or misrepresented. It is not
a tool for people to take back the statements they have already made because
they changed their minds or are unhappy with the reactions they are getting.

That’s it. I’m sick and tired of the way religion
is being manipulated to serve personal interests. And you know what? I’m
making it personal and it’s going to anger a few people. But that’s
what the op-ed page is for, right?
I find it fascinating how one can live for 10 years in a

not been filled by an Egyptian identity.
Letter to the Editor All problems have solutions Two of the stories in the October 8th issue concern complaints
which I think can easily be addressed: (1) students sitting on the stairs;
and (2) students who think they are unfairly treated by professors in
their classes.
Clarification: In the story “students ignore new security rules,” published in issue 4, Karim Seghir, assistant professor in economics, was quoted as saying, “[Students on the stairs] have no social intelligence.” He wishes to clarify that, saying that he meant “students who sit on the stairs and do not move or do not even feel they have to move have no social intelligence.”
