Ibrahim unable to return to Egypt, retires from AUC
Forced into self-exile outside of Egypt, Saad El Din Ibrahim, sociology professor at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and chairman of the Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies, submitted a request for early retirement last week, which was accepted by the office of the provost.
