The U.S.-Palestinian Partnership
Launched by U.S. government and U.S. business leaders in 2007 following the Annapolis peace talks, the U.S.-Palestinian Partnership (UPP) promotes economic and educational opportunities for the Palestinian people. UPP is a critical component in facilitating progress toward a two-state solution, wherein Israel and Palestine can live side by side in peace, security and prosperity. The Palestinian Arab International Center – Tawasol 
The Palestinian Arab International Center – Tawasol: was established in 2004, and aims to develop the status of (Women, Youth, old people and Children) in the Economic, Cultural Social life, Human Rights and Democracy.  It also aims to establish and maintain contacts between Palestinian people and other parts of the world, and to foster relationship with the Arab and International world.  For more information, please visit www.pac-tawasol.org

The Business & Professional Women-Amman [BPW-A] is a not-for-profit organization working to increase women’s economic participation in Jordan by: 1) Harnessing the underutilized economic and social capabilities of Jordanian women by utilizing the experience of its accomplished members, its resources and its networks, 2) and providing effective services responding to the needs of its members, the female professionals and business owners. The (BPWA) serves as a gateway to promote leadership, education, and job-linked training. It is engaged in a wide range of developmental projects that aim to improve the quality of women’s participation in the labor market in Jordan. It also aims to develop a formula to create a balance between the professional and personal lives of working women.  

BPW–A’s mission is to open pathways and create platforms for women in business to move beyond barriers and utilize their unique energies, talents, and capabilities to make a difference. The Association’s long term vision is to be a vital contributor to the prosperity of the Jordanian Business and Professional Society.

We are pleased to announce that the Goldman Sachs Women's Entrepreneurship and Leadership (WEL) program is accepting new applications for the second and third cohorts. The program will be held at AUC's New Cairo Campus for five weeks during May-June 2009.
