Prerequisites: consent of the instructor, senior standing.
In exceptional circumstances some senior science students, with departmental approval, may arrange to study a selected topic outside of the regular course offerings. The student and faculty member will select a topic of mutual interest and the student will be guided in research and readings. The student would demonstrate achievement either by submitting a report or passing an examination, according to the decision of the supervisor. A student may earn up to a total of three credits. |
