Program credit: 2 or 3 hrs each. Prerequisite: ALIN 131. Offered in fall and spring.
Exposes students with some background in printed media to broadcast news media. Drills students in vocabulary and syntax and helps them develop strategies for listening comprehension. Each course meets three or five hours per week.
