Engineering Analysis and Computation I

Prerequisite: CSCI 104 and MATH 233. Offered in fall and spring.
Matrix algebra, solution of simultaneous linear equations, roots of equations, curve fitting (regression and interpolation).  Statistical analysis of experimental data, sampling, probability, probability distribution, and expectations. The course emphasizes engineering applications and the use of interactive computer programs for problem solving. Computer project.
