Engineering Analysis and Computation I (
3 cr
Prerequisite: CSCI 106 and MATH 233. Offered in fall and spring.
Matrices, solution of simultaneous linear equations, roots of equations, curve fitting (regression and interpolation). Statistical analysis of experimental data, probability, mathematical expectation, probability distributions, and probability density functions. The course emphasizes engineering applications and the use of computer programs for problem solving. Computer project.
