Prerequisite: Senior standing. Offered in spring.
Basic components of interactive computer graphics systems. Introduction to the Graphical Kernel System (GKS). Geometric modeling. Two- and three-dimensional wire frame models. Creation and representation of surface and solid models. Overview and utilization of typical interactive computer graphics package. Rendering, light, background and modifying 3-D models.
