Prerequisite: SOC 201 and PSYC 207. Offered in spring. This course introduces students to the basic survey methods used in the social sciences. Emphasis is on the logic of social science and the implications of the major forms of quantitative research methodology. Allows students to recognize and analyze merits of research in the social sciences including public opinion and policy action research . Students will be encouraged to conduct mini-scale surveys on the campus and beyond. |
