Introductory Quantum Theory & Statistical Thermodynamics

Prerequisites: CHEM 304 and PHYS 214.  Offered in fall.
Basic concepts of quantum mechanics, applications to simple systems; basic concepts of statistical mechanics, application to thermodynacmics and kinetic theory of gases.
