Program credit: 2 or 3 hrs each. Offered in fall and spring.
Translation from English to Arabic. Introduces students to the problem of translating short passages, where they must not only convey information accurately in a grammatical form, but must also produce a coherent Arabic text. Each course meets three or five hours per week.
