i.e., when
its range is uncountably infinite,
- Usually
continuous
random
variables arise from measuring.
- Examples include:
- GPA
of students.
- The
dimensional deviation of a product from its nominal diameter.
- Time
between calls arriving at a switchboard in an hour.
