Labor Economics

Completion of ECON 308 recommended. Offered occasionally.
The course delivers an advanced treatment of modern labor economics emphasizing the integration of theoretical and empirical models. Topics to be covered include: life- cycle human capital models, search theoretic models, internal markets, reservation wages, job search and matching. Issues in the theory and measurements of economic inequality are covered.
