The fees are shown in the Table below and do not cover living expenses and travel. Fees for more than one module are calculated as US $315 multiplied by number of weeks of training with minimum of US $ 1,260. Fees do not include living and travel expenses. |

Financial Assistance |
|
|
Applicants needing financial support to cover tuition and/or living expenses are advised to approach donors, international agencies and regional agencies. Limited full fee waivers are offered by SRC on a highly competitive basis to academic staff of Egyptian public universities and national government sector employees; these are funded by the generous contributions of FORD Foundation. Limited partial fee waivers are offered by SRC on a highly competitive basis to Egyptian nationals. |

Scholarship Terms |
|
A. Full scholarship for Egyptians residing in Cairo |
|
|
A full scholarship covers the following items: |
|
|
Fees for attending the course
All teaching materials and handouts
AUC bus membership for internal transportation from and to AUC Campus in New Cairo
Daily Allowance that covers contribution to meals
|
|
|
B. Full scholarship for Egyptians residing outside Cairo |
|
|
A full scholarship covers the following items: |

Fees for attending the course
All teaching material and handouts
Train/Bus return ticket from place of residence to Cairo. The trainees are requested to arrange for their travel and they will be reimbursed upon presenting the train/bus ticket on arrival.
Hotel accommodation (bed and breakfast in a single room) for a week utmost followed by a furnished flat approved by SRC for the remaining training period and shared with roommates. Alternative accommodation plans will not be funded by SRC.
AUC bus membership for internal transportation from and to AUC Campus in New Cairo
Daily Allowance that covers contribution to meals
Participants are responsible for the additional costs involved in the event of accompanying family members.

Air-return ticket economy class from place of residence to Cairo. The ticket will be purchased by SRC and the trainee will be informed of all travel arrangements. Please note that trainees are not allowed to purchase their own tickets.
Hotel accommodation (bed and breakfast in a single room) for a week utmost followed by a furnished flat approved by SRC for the remaining training period and shared with roommates. Alternative accommodation plans will not be funded by SRC.

Over the past several years, financial assistance for trainees has been provided by donors including the The Welcome Trust, Hewlet Foundation, WHO-EMRO, UNFPA, UNDP, USAID, UNRWA, Population Council (MEAWARDS), National Institute of Health – Office of AIDS Research (NIH/AIDS). |
