Prerequisites: MATH 233, MATH 304 or consent of instructor. Offered in fall. Numerical methods for quadrature solution of integral and differential equations, and linear algebra. Use of computation and computer graphics to simulate the behavior of complex physical systems. Monte Carlo simulations.
