Prerequisite: junior standing. Offered in fall and spring.
Methods used in mass communication research. Emphasis on the methods and tools used in investigative reporting, and in message and audience measurements. Surveys, personal interviews, case studies, observation, and content analysis. Individual and/or group research projects may be possible.
