Prerequisite: SYST 430. Offered occasionally.
Provides a framework for integrating the concepts essential to identification, description, analysis, and implementation of computer-based information systems. Telecommunication, data management, software techniques, selection and evaluation, information resource management. Examples of implementation and use of actual information-based systems are discussed. Field visits.
