Prerequisite: JRMC 536.
An advanced workshop devoted to the development of vocal tone and resonance appropriate to the presentation of TV news, particularly when "on camera". The course includes continued attention to modification techniques to eliminate inappropriate facial expression or nervous gestures, and further development of efficient posture and breathing habits, unobtrusive and clear enunciation and fluent facility in the cadence in English. The workshop will focus on both physical movement and continuous practice in the oral presentation of TV news scripts and analysis of the oral presentation implications in writing TV news scripts.
