Same as Soc/ANTH 576. Prerequisite: Graduate standing, or advanced undergraduate standing and permission of the instructor. This course complements other courses offered in the postgraduate Diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies during any given semester by examining critical issues that would otherwise remain unexamined. Topics may include, among others, resettlement, social service delivery, urban refugees, women, health, children, family reunification, humanitarian intervention. May be taken more than once if content changes. This course is required of all students seeking the diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies. |
