Not for credit for students who major or minor in computer science. Prerequisites: MOIS 305. Offered in fall and spring. The course aims at defining a framework of management information systems with emphasis on the organization. It relates to a number of important organizational aspects such as the human and technological infrastructure and the needs and requirements of an organizational information system. The course also covers the relational database model, with special emphasis on the design and querying of relational databases and exploration of the relationship of database to the rest of the system. |
