About Our Site
The website on the impact of Macroeconomic policies on women in Egypt is established by the Social Research Center (SRC) - one of the research centers affiliated to the American University in Cairo - in collaboration with the United Nations Fund for Women (UNIFEM) UNIFEM Asia-Pacific and Arab States is establishing a resource. The work in the website started in September 2003 , it is a part of a project establishing a resource website on the Economic Participation of Women in Egypt which has been going on since 2002 under the sponsorship of UNDP and ILO offices in Egypt. |  |
